'Child's Play' actor Ed Gale admits soliciting for child sex in sting operation
"Child's Play" actor Ed Gale admitted to Creep Catchers Unit that he was trying to meet a teenage boy for sex and he had engaged in sexually explicit online conversations with who he thought was a boy. The 59-year-old actor, who starred in the 1988 horror film "Child's Play" and several follow-ups, was confronted last Friday by the San Diego-based child advocacy group, which ran a sting operation at Gale's Hollywood apartment and released video from the encounter. The founder of the CC Unit, who goes by the name Ghost, met with Gale under the pretense that he was the 14-year-old boy Gale believed he had been conversing with. Upon meeting at Gale's apartment, Ghost presented Gale with printouts of the online conversations the actor allegedly had through one of CC Units' decoy accounts and asked Gale whether he had tried to solicit child pornography. A small group of 20-somethings are posing as young teens on online dating sites, trying to catch people they suspect are trying to lure them for sex.

60 suspected drug dealers in Florida arrested during sting operation using dating apps, social media
Fox News Flash top headlines are here. Check out what's clicking on Foxnews.com. The Polk County Sheriff's Office in Florida on Thursday announced charges against 68 suspected drug dealers as part of an undercover operation using social media and dating apps. The six-month operation dubbed "Swipe Left for Meth" -- a play on Grindr and other dating apps that require users to "swipe" through scores of potential dates in their area -- concluded in the arrests of 60 individuals and securement of eight arrest warrants for individuals still at-large related to drug sales or possession. "We've known for some time that suspects will use the internet and social media to prey upon children online, or to engage in prostitution, but this is something we are seeing more and more of in Polk County -- suspects who are using dating apps to sell illegal narcotics," Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd said in a statement." Suspects are getting more creative, but so are our detectives."

Yelp Looks to Expand Beyond Reviews
Yelp, YELP -1.69% the company known for its 5-star-ratings system for businesses, is adding to its roster of services in a bid to uphold its own popularity. The San Francisco-based company started out by giving users a way to see what others have said about a business or what dishes are most popular at a restaurant. Since its founding in 2004, Yelp has amassed some 127 million reviews in areas such as retail, restaurants, home and local services and beauty in more than 30 countries. Now, pressed by rivals such as Google, which includes its own ratings system for local businesses in its search results, Yelp has expanded the services it offers. Users can now make restaurant reservations, get price quotes from businesses, hold a place in line for a restaurant, get food delivered and earn cash from a loyalty program.
